Ode to a Nightingale

That thou, light-winged Dryad of the trees
In some melodious plot
Of beechen green, and shadows numberless,
Singest of summer in full-throated ease.
– John Keats

During the credits of “Bright Star” a movie about John Keats’s life, the poem, “Ode to a Nightingale” is spoken, accompanied by a crescendo of classical music and a delicate birdsong. I want my collection to have the same crescendo of feelings and emotions. Bold, but at the same time, pure and delicate. A collection developed around the figure of a poet-hunter, expressing his being through garments that combine technical hunting wear with the elegance of embroidery. A coarse material, such as rubber, engraved and enhanced with elaborate embroidery in gold, black and green, giving the whole look a timeless poetic feel.
